Most symptoms are gone now. Cough lingers. My energy should increase as I move around more. As nice as it has been to investigate the blogging world for hours from my sick bed, it's time to get back on track, even if it's a slow track.
New goal: move more. I commit to a 10 minute walk each day and 10 minutes of moving my body rhythmically to music (I'd call it "dancing," except I don't think what I do could be defined as dancing).
Soon I will deal with my "other" swine flu...the kind were I eat like a pig...it has been a real sickness. I want to be cautious about this...nothing radical. I want the changes to stick.
I'm glad you're feeling better, and at least now you have antibodies! I think you are wise to be gentle about resuming the exercise.
ReplyDeleteSwine flu is no fun! 6 of my 7 kids had it and the cough did linger on, and on, and on! I'm so glad that you are feeling better now. Did your kids get it?
ReplyDeleteMy 8 and 9 yr olds are getting it now. My 4 yr old seemed to have it (or something milder) for one day (the day I began feeling off).
ReplyDeleteI just put together my first ever playlist today so I can have fun music to move to. It's on the very bottom of blog. Larkspur, your "Big N Chunky" song inspired me and I included it on the list.
Gina - I'm sorry they got it (or are getting it.) We've never watched so much television in one week when all the kids had it.
ReplyDeleteTake care,
Diane
Aw, what a completely dear picture. You're both adorable and my gosh does he look French! (I spent six weeks in Haute Savoie when I was a teen.)
ReplyDeleteDanny used to go skiing there and says there's great fondue. Danny lived North in Alsace (Strasburg). Do you wish you could go back?
ReplyDeleteOh yes, it was lovely. I haven't been back to Europe since. Do you go there for visits?
ReplyDeleteI've visited my in-laws twice in our 14 years. My husband has been trying to take our oldest two the past few years.
